Have you ever felt like your mind just works a little differently?
Perhaps you take in the world in ways others don’t always see - noticing subtle details, feeling emotions more deeply, or needing more space and time to process what’s happening around you. You may have been told you were too sensitive, too intense, too distracted, or too quiet.

But what if none of that was ever wrong? More and more, we’re beginning to understand that many neurodivergent individuals are not only highly perceptive, but also spiritually attuned. And for some, the deeper they go on the path of awakening, the more their neurodivergent traits begin to surface or manifest - especially as spiritual channels open in ways that many non-neurodivergent individuals may never experience.
At the same time, some aspects of neurodivergence - especially when paired with anxiety or nervous system dysregulation - can be deeply destabilizing. They may interfere with grounding, clarity, or integration, even for those with advanced spiritual awareness. This can create a particular kind of tension: being profoundly open on one level, yet struggling to feel anchored or safe in the body on another.
Unfortunately, in many spiritual communities - including some Sanghas and teachings rooted in nonduality - neurodivergence is often overlooked or bypassed altogether. The assumption is that awakening transcends all forms. But for some, the way their system is wired can make the process of embodiment and integration far more complex.
And that matters - because we cannot bypass the human experience, nor can we undermine or disregard the uniqueness of each individual’s challenges.
True liberation comes not by avoiding our patterns, but by fully meeting the vasanas - the deep impressions and karmic imprints - that rise to the surface when we choose to walk the path of Dharma.
How Neurodivergence Can Show Up
Autism Spectrum - You may crave routine, feel overwhelmed by sensory input, or need extra time alone to recharge. You likely see patterns, details, and truths others miss.
ADHD - You might hyper-focus on what excites you, struggle to start mundane tasks, or feel mentally “all over the place” - but deeply passionate and empathetic underneath.
OCD - Intrusive thoughts and rituals may arise as attempts to find safety - not from irrationality, but from an overloaded system trying to regulate.
Bipolar - You may swing between high energy, inspired vision, and deep emotional lows - questioning which version of yourself is the “real” one (spoiler: both are).
Dyslexia & Learning Differences - You might process the world visually, intuitively, or non-linearly - learning deeply, just not always traditionally.
Sensory Processing Sensitivity - You may feel too much, too fast - needing quiet, nature, or touch to feel grounded again.
No Label? That’s okay. You might resonate with pieces of many, or none at all - just knowing you’re wired for depth, truth, and sensitivity in a world that often asks for speed and surface.
A Deeper Lens: Sensitivity as a Spiritual Gift
From a spiritual or energetic perspective, many people who identify as neurodivergent are actually deeply attuned beings. Their nervous systems and perceptive abilities often function like finely-tuned instruments - picking up on subtle shifts in energy, emotion, and environment that others might not consciously register.
Many process life in spirals rather than straight lines, integrating experience through feeling, image, or intuitive knowing - rather than logic alone. Some may also carry a naturally expanded sensitivity that opens them to the spiritual realms or psychic awareness.
This might show up as:
Clairsentience (feeling energy)
Clairvoyance (seeing inner visions)
Empathy (absorbing emotional frequency)
Intuition (knowing without logic)
Connection with spirit guides, ancestors, or entities
Receiving insight through dreams or spontaneous downloads
This isn’t “too much” - it’s perception on another frequency. And it’s valid.
From Mystic Lineages to Modern Paths
Throughout history, many mystics, saints, sages, and seers likely carried what we would now call neurodivergent traits. Their sensitivity, visionary thinking, and refusal to conform were not flaws - they were signs of spiritual integration.
They may have:
Spoken in poetic or symbolic language
Needed solitude or ritual to ground themselves
Experienced altered states or spontaneous transmissions
Held convictions rooted in divine truth, not social norms
When nurtured, neurodivergence is not something to "fix" - it is a sacred configuration that holds the potential for great depth, creativity, and truth.
What the World Calls “Symptoms” Might Be Something Deeper
It can be profoundly healing to reframe the parts of yourself that you’ve been told are “wrong.”
What if these traits are not flaws, but signs of a deeper sensitivity - a reflection of how your system uniquely experiences the world?
The world says: You’re too distracted.
But what may be happening is: Your mind is attuned to multiple timelines, dimensions, and subtle streams of information. You’re not inattentive - you’re perceiving what others don’t even register.
The world says: You’re too sensitive.
But what may be happening is: You’re psychically attuned, deeply empathic, and energetically porous. You feel subtle shifts in energy, emotion, and intention - your system is finely tuned to frequencies others often ignore.
The world says: You’re not good in social situations.
But what may be happening is: You’re absorbing psychic and emotional data from the collective field. Your nervous system isn’t just reacting to noise or movement - it’s responding to the unseen energy within the space.
The world says: You're too introverted.
But what may be happening is: You seek solitude not to avoid, but to recalibrate. Stillness, quiet, and space allow you to integrate, reconnect, and hear your soul’s voice amidst the external noise.
Navigating Anxiety with Neurodivergence
For many neurodivergent beings - especially those on a spiritual path - anxiety becomes a companion. Not because they are weak, but because their systems are processing so much, so quickly.
Anxiety may arise from:
Sensory overwhelm or energetic overload
Trying to conform in environments that don’t feel safe
Picking up emotional or spiritual frequencies from others
Internal pressure to "keep up"
Ancestral trauma, spiritual interference, or unintegrated energy
But anxiety does not have to run your life. With awareness, it can become a guide - a messenger of what your system needs in order to return to clarity, presence, and safety.
Tools to Regulate the Nervous System
Neurodivergence and anxiety often go hand‑in‑hand on the spiritual path - but without proper support, this journey can feel overwhelming.
For many neurodivergent beings, the autonomic nervous system is in constant overdrive. Even subtle stimuli can trigger a fight, flight, or freeze response. Learning to gently rewire this system takes time, patience, and compassion - but it is absolutely possible.
These tools are here to help you return to centre, regulate your nervous system, and anchor your energy - especially during waves of anxiety, hypersensitivity, or expansion.
Ground Through the Body
Walk barefoot and root into the earth.
Move, shake, or dance to release tension.
Breathe deeply into your belly when overstimulated.
Try Uddiyana Bandha to awaken inner strength.
In fight/flight moments, use box breathing, cold water, or movement to regulate.
Let anger move safely - expression heals, suppression harms.
Energetic Cleansing & Protection
Take salt baths or foot soaks to clear and ground.
Keep daily energetic hygiene - especially if you’re empathic.
Be discerning with healers, spaces, and partners; energy exchanges leave imprints.
If spiritual interference arises, seek professional energetic clearing (see below).
Avoid What Aggravates the System
Limit stimulants: coffee, sugar, cacao, spicy foods, screens.
Avoid substances that destabilize (alcohol, marijuana, etc.).
Eat warm, grounding foods and stay hydrated.
Create Anchors for Your Energy
Build gentle rituals: candle-lighting, prayer, breathwork.
Practice microcosmic orbit or alternate-nostril breathing to balance energy.
Journal, create art, or move gently to express and release.
Stay softly engaged - walk, read, or tend to something simple.
Choose the Right Kind of Stillness
Let stillness come through the body, not force.
Explore sound healing, yin yoga, or somatic breathwork.
If meditation feels triggering, try walking or creative flow instead.
Honour your rhythm - both rest and expression are sacred.
Know What Soothes You
Identify your sensory triggers and comforts.
Surround yourself with nature, sound, scent, or texture that grounds you.
Embrace solitude as medicine, not isolation.
Break Patterns That Feed Anxiety
Notice looping behaviours - over-researching, over-talking, over-fixing.
Gently shift attention to grounding activities.
Not every emotion needs analysis - allow feelings to move through you.
Soften. Be patient with yourself as you learn new responses.
Seek Aligned, Respectful Support
Work with practitioners who understand sensitivity and neurodivergence.
Avoid teachers or communities that bypass or shame your experience.
Choose clear, grounded healers whose energy supports stability, not confusion.
Having struggled with OCD, ADHD, and anxiety for most of my life, it has been a deeply humbling and powerful journey to learn how to navigate these experiences while also walking a spiritual path. Being with my partner Saeed - a spiritual teacher rooted in the path of nonduality and various wisdom traditions - and having him witness my journey firsthand, has deepened his understanding of just how unique, layered, and sensitive each person’s process of integration and stabilization can be, especially for those who are neurodivergent.
Together, we’ve started to really explore how spiritual awakening and neurodivergence intersect, and how important it is to create spaces that honour and support all the challenges that may arise. What has become undeniably clear is that certain factors - such as spiritual interference, including entities, implants, and connections to demonic or adharmic forces - can significantly heighten neurodivergent traits and the anxiety or instability that comes with it. As we’ve seen this pattern emerge again and again in our work, both of our offerings have evolved and adapted to meet these deeper layers with more precision, compassion, and care.
Saeed’s comprahensive clearing sessions support the system in the following ways:
Removing implants, entities, and demonic energy
Clearing and aligning each of the chakras
Restoring energy flow between the chakras
Identifying and cutting cords or connections draining your life force
Opening the nadis (energy channels)
Offering a short energetic transmission to stabilise and uplift the system
Strengthening and sealing the second (sacral) chakra, making it much more difficult for intrusive energies to enter in the future
This deep energetic work often results in a significant shift in consciousness, increased clarity, and a noticeable strengthening and sealing of the field.
The work I offer is focused on integration, spiritual connection, and higher frequency embodiment. It supports:
Elevated levels of consciousness
A deeper, more sustained connection to the higher self and soul
Activation of dormant DNA, Gene Keys, and unique soul essence
Noticeable stabilization in neurodivergent patterns (including OCD, ADHD, Autism, Asperger’s, and bipolar traits) - in some cases, we’ve seen individuals move from as high as 80% OCD or ADHD down to less than 10%, and in some cases even 0%, as the system begins to regulate and clear
Healing of trauma, energetic blockages, and karmic imprints — ancestral, collective, and past life
Strengthening and harmonizing of the auric field and chakra system
Release of entities
And that’s to say - all of this is not just intuitive. It is also measured and confirmed through kinesiology-based testing, which is done before and after each session. This offers deep insight into the energetic shifts taking place in the system and gives confirmation - both to us and to the client - of what is actually happening. This is work that people not only feel tangibly, but that we can see and track, offering grounded validation that it is working.
You don’t have to walk this journey alone. If you resonate with what’s been shared here - if you’re navigating heightened sensitivity, spiritual awakening, neurodivergence, or you feel overwhelmed or dysregulated and are seeking deeper energetic support - please know you are not broken. Your experience is valid. Your path is sacred.
We are here to support you in remembering your wholeness and reclaiming your sovereignty - gently, consciously, and with great care. You are not alone, and there is a way through.
And if you’d like to understand more about entities and the adharmic forces that are destabilizing many on the spiritual awakening path, I invite you to read my other blog post - “The Dark Side of the Spiritual and Healing Community” - for deeper insight and clarity into what’s truly going on.
